Carbondale/Aspen/Denver area
Well I just found out we are going to Colorado in 2 weeks. Anybody every been to Carbondale or Aspen? What is there to do around there/Denver besides ski? I'm going to try to go into the city to watch the Rockies. I figure I might try fly fishin while I'm out there and will probably golf one day. I checked RedRocks and Robert Plant/ Allyson Krauss are playing the night before we fly back but I doubt I'll catch that one. We'll be in Carbondale most of the time. I think Wyoming+Salt Lake City are in driving distance but I doubt we'll go there. I'd LOVE to go up to Yellowstone but it looks like it is too far away.

If you like hiking, Rocky Mountain National Park is great! 3 summers ago, I hiked the Mills Lake / Glacier Gorge trail (2.8 miles). About 0.5 miles into the hike, I hit the snowcap. Hiking through snow in shorts in July with 50-60 temps was mind boggling. And the scenery was just breath-taking!
If you are more of a driver than hiker, head down to Colorado Springs to Pike's Peak (1 hr from Denver). You can drive up to the top! You also have the "Gardern of the Gods" in Colorado Springs.
Would LeBron go back to the Cavs?
