I went to Jamaica on my honeymoon. We were in Ocho Rios. It was wonderful, I believe the place was called tower isles.

Same here. Ocho Rios, only the resort was Eden II and during the Jurassic period.

I'm headed to Jamaica in the Spring '13. We're doing an all-inclusive resort. It'll be my first all-inclusive trip & I'm really looking forward to it.

All inclusive is the way to go. Take a nice size thermal mug. The cups are so small you'll drink both cups before you get back to your spot on the beach.

Never been to Jamaica. We considered it this summer but decided on Aruba.

I agree on the thermal mug. We bought a couple Bubba Kegs and always take them with us.
Also, take a little cash with you. Tips are included in your package but a few dollars a day go a long way with the bartenders.

We've been to the Riviera Maya twice, The Dominican Republic and are going to Aruba in a little less than a month. All inclusive is the only way to go.

We go almost every year. Ocho Rios was beautiful and the resort sat up over the beach on a big hill, but the beach was pretty rocky. The best beach is in Negril, we have stayed at Breezes Grand Negril 4 times now and really enjoyed it. I like to dive and the dive group there is really good. The food is great also. We have also stayed in Runaway Bay 5 or six times at different resorts. I have been to Cancun and Aruba in the summer and both places were extremely windy which made being on the beach uncomfortable. I still enjoyed them, and the beaches are beautiful in both places. I have never been to the Dominican Isles, but I understand they are quite nice also. We picked Jamaica and Breezes because it is easy to get to, and if you work around on your dates it is really a good value.

We were in Negril just three weeks ago.

One of the girls on our trip has food allergies (i.e. seafood, peanuts, etc.)

Is that a problem at an all-inclusive resort?

I wouldn't think so, but I will ask one of my sons who went to Punta Cana and has a peanut allergy.

I am allergic to seafood(shellfish) and almonds and I have been to two all-inclusive resorts without any issue. I ate jerk chicken and fries all week in Jamaica.

We went to Ocho Rios in 2002. I believe the all inclusive resort was Couples at that time. Very nice. Do the Dunns River Falls tour! very cool! Love the jerk chicken.
