The Legend of Zelda was probably the first game I truly loved. The first game I owned was the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo that came with the NES, but I don't think I could really say I loved it.

Zelda and Mario 3 are the first two games I can remember just playing for hours and hours on end.

Galaga. The dorm I stayed in my Freshman year in college had one on which the coin slot was busted and you could play unlimited games for free. I spent way to much time on this and got to the point where I could play for almost an hour on one game.

Zelda was great! I spent many an hour on that as well. Probably not good for a 26 year old at the time.

The first game I remember playing a lot was Major League Baseball ft. Ken Griffey Jr. on N64.

    Atari - Phoenix
    Nintendo - Super Mario Bros.
N64 - Mario Cart (This would be my all time favorite!)
