She's likely not been clocked that fast in several years, given her health issues, outside interests, and the effects of aging. I can play some tennis, but I'm sure I'd struggle at facing down her 100mph serve even if I knew exactly where it was going.

    Nope.

With her placement, you wouldn't want her to hit it right at you. Could be emasculating, literally.

I thought about that one for a minute. I had great junk and control back in the day. Then yesterday, a stray softball drifted over into my area, and when I went to throw it back (about a 15-yard toss), it went embarrassingly way wide right. I blamed it on the rust crumbling off my once rubber-arm.

No doubt about it. I "used to be" pretty good. I'm not that guy anymore. But, the last time I played tennis, I still had some stuff, and even got a few of my bomber serves in. Not that those would be a problem for Venus or any other WTA player. My opponent was not that caliber.

I played on the Thomas More College tennis team back in the early 80's. Back then, I would have had a shot returning a Venus serve. Now, at 56 and with bad knees...no way.

Big ups to @Jumper_Dad for not polluting his original post with silly things, like "can you compete in NASCAR?"

Because I can totally do that. I can drive really, really fast in tight quarters. The beauty of pro athletes is they can do something none of us can. I'm not particularly impressed by the "athletic ability" of race car drivers when the most athletic thing they do is drive for a few hundred miles in hot temps. They don't even have to hold in a pee for that time anymore because of the high-tech suits, which also cool them off. I have a lot more respect for the guys who hack it out on the weekly dirt tracks since they actually work on their own cars (something I can't do). The glorification of NASCAR drivers has always escaped me.

Shocked making the cut in a PGA Tour even or something like that didn't make the list, according to most people who follow golf and don't play they all could do something that a tour pro hasn't pulled off on live TV before.

I though about throwing out a golf challenge, but most golfers aren't as delusional as othet former high school athletes. They know they have no business competing with a PGA pro.

Maybe stopping an NHL shot by sheer luck, but otherwise I'm in agreement.

No chance for any of the others.

Tackle a back in Oklahoma drill...yes
Cover a WR in 10 attempts...10 years ago
Block an NHL Shot...in full gear...yes I'd get lucky in the small net
Return a serve...stick racket out and hope for the best
Beat UFC Female champ...not a chance
Score against the worst NBA Guard...not likely
Beat Tebow in either listed...don't think so.
    Beat Elena Donne...nope

None, of them. I would have trouble bending over to pick up one of Venus' tennis balls. No chance of returning a serve.
