    Here's a link for 1040ez form, Standard single deduction for 2017 is $10,400.00. So she would have $100.00 taxable income if she made $10,500.00

    Read your form carefully. The amount you quote is for standard deduction and personal exemption.

    I was going by line 5 on 1040ez. It says if you can't be deducted by anyone else. Put $10,400.00 on line 5 for single deduction.
