Just checked the 5 am update from the NWS-Louisville office. It now looks like the timing for these storms will be between 4 pm to 12 am EDT.

    mid morning update:

Louisville is now in the Enhanced area. I was thinking that the area maybe moved towards the north some earlier this morning. Also the area has been extended all the way to parts of southeast Kentucky.

Thanks for your updates, nWo. Because of them, I was able to reschedule my day to make sure I'm back home and my car garaged before baseball's start falling from the sky and the wind starts blowing random crap into me! I'm all settled in and as ready as I will ever be for the worst now!

You're welcome everyone. Just a quick update on the tornado threat area. It has moved a little to the north also. The northern boundary is from southern Harrison Co to Richmond,KY. I'll be back a little later with a more detailed update.

The Weather Channel has parts of Kentucky with a 50% chance of seeing a Tornado.

A severe weather watch will be issued soon for parts of Kentucky from about the I-65 corridor back to the west. They are predicting that this will move across parts of central Kentucky later today.

I just cleaned my garage out and got my car parked inside. I'm not taking any chances on serious hail damage

Those in the Owensboro area should be alert. There is a severe thunderstorm in southern Illinois heading that way.

Those in the Louisville area should be on the lookout from your southwest. Storm between Jeffersontown and Ft. Knox heading in your direction. Nothing severe yet.
