Putting my name on golf balls was a huge mistake.

Recently Bridgestone had a promo to enhance their new logo saturation. I purchased three dozen for the price of two and received free personalization. Now I find my name staring back at address. It breaks my concentration and I find myself thinking about it whether it is visible, or not. Plus, I find myself looking more for my bad hits, not wanting a finder to know it was mine. Personalization of golf balls doesn't work for me. Got to hurry up and lose three dozen balls.

Yes, but when other people find those lost balls they will talk about what a bad shot you are!

I could do that for you in about three rounds.

Well @Oldercoach I think you shouldn’t have any trouble losing them. Let’s play again soon and I’ll put them all away for you!

Thinking about finding a lake driving range. They have them in Ft. Myers.

OOB! Three dozen might not be enough balls for one round.

If I find one, I'm coming to get it autographed!

Had some with my name on them. Always wanted to know if I found one in the reclaimed ball section of a pro shop if I had the rights to claim it back. Also had tees and ball markers.

What if your last name is Titleist or Spaulding or Callaway? Would you quit golf?

Wife likes to tell about my pink pants in 70's that had my name embroidered on the cuff area. Still have them stored in a box for my funeral. Rodney Dangerfield copied his after mine.

I'm sure those were kept behind protective glass...probably a lighted display of some sort.
