My Old Kentucky Home in pictures

We live in a beautiful state. Sometimes we are too familiar with our hometowns, and we drive right by it every day without seeing the beauty and uniqueness of what is right in front of our eyes. If we would just step back and look at it through a different lens sometimes.

I thought it would be nice if we could all share pictures of our hometowns, or nearby, or places we have visited into a thread for everyone to see.

I'll start with this beautiful aerial shot of Pikeville, KY by Jesse Parrish

One of my favorite places to visit is Natural Bridge State Park. If you are into hiking or rock climbing, you would love it. I prefer the ski lift, LOL.

The bridge sits high atop a picturesque mountain, with an incredible view. I love this place.

Thread title confused me. I thought I was going to have to go looking through my archives for all my pics of Federal Hill Mansion over the years.

It is the oldest home in Ashland, originally belonging to the Poage family, who founded Ashland, which was originally called Poage's Landing
