    Louisville Is Painting The 2nd Street Clark Memorial Bridge Yellow

    The color is apparently getting a lot of mixed reviews. I don't particularly mind it. What do you think?

    Kind of my thought as well. It definitely beats rust, anyway. Some folks think it should have been painted "Louisville red". I personally would take the yellow over red.

    I think the yellow, blue and white bridges up in Cincinnati look pretty decent. Not a huge fan of the purple one up there though.

    I like the Beard bridge in Cincinnati and the Clemente in Pittsburgh. They could do much worse than yella.

    I saw an article on WDRB's website that said Louisville chose it because it was "warm and inviting".

    I hope this paint job last better than the one they put on the twin bridges in Henderson. A several month traffic nightmare for a paint job that lasted about a year before rust started coming through.
