Is it an age thing? I know younger people can hear higher pitches than older people. All I hear is Laurel.

So strange. I heard it first on the news this morning. It was clearly Laurel. Now, through my computer speakers, it is Yanny only.

In the video poster here, I clearly hear a male voice saying Laurel.

A co-worker played it in the kitchen his morning and I could clearly hear a female voice saying Yanny.

I hear Laurel every single time. My gf heard Yanny at first and after showing to me she heard Laurel as well. My only thought is that there are multiple versions of this going around with one saying Yanny more clearly or Laurel more clearly???

Nah, I've heard both on the same version after listening to it at different times.

I heard both, distinctly. From the get go.

I also prefer to listen to audio books at 2X speed. Normal speed puts me to sleep. I know it drives other people nuts, though.

Listened to it via a radio show in my car and I heard Laurel plain as day.

Here's a tool to help hear both. Now it's a matter of where on the slider bar do you hear the one you couldn't hear before.

Tool still doesn't help me here Yanny. I hear Laurel the whole slide bar, except for the right most spot. Then I hear something like yaley. Never hear an N sound at all
