Hardwood/laminate flooring...anyone done it lately?

    I put basement grade laminate hardwood several years ago...about 450sq feet. Great decision.

    You could lay it yourself and save the money....but I get it. Took me about 10 man hours to do mine. A nice square room certainly helps.

    I dont like the look at all, and seem like a lot of work for a floor.

    I guess the obvious response to that would be...don't put in hardwood floors in your house then.
