Had my first sip of coffee today in almost...

...a year. March 29th was the last time I had any, day before my hip replacement surgery. Left my asthma inhaler at home this morning, fighting a cold and after walking outside at break my asthma was flaring up some. Hot coffee can help, which is why I did it. No cream, little bit of honey to sweeten. I don't plan on picking it back up again...but man it's pretty good.

I had a story I was going to share about my coffee, but I decided it was boring so I deleted it. You can thank me later.

Having said that....similar experience, but I decided to resume coffee drinking but with a very strict limit.

    1) That's awesome BigV that you quit like that and were able to keep it up!

    2) I don't get how I can wake up early on the weekend and make it through the day with no coffee but work is impossible without it.

Only drink coffee when it's cold out, never drink it in the summer.

I've had one cup of coffee in my entire life. It was awful.

Recently decided to go from two morning cups to just one, and went through 3 days of severe headaches while my system was adjusting to the change.

I have never had a cup of coffee. I really have no reason why, and I love the smell of coffee in the morning.

If you drink a lot of caffeinated sodas, you won't hardly notice anything if you quit drinking coffee.

I don't drink soda, so when I tried to quit coffee cold turkey last spring, I found it harder to do that quitting smoking (and I was a 3 pack a day guy). I quit smoking 11 years ago. I'm on my second cup of java this morning.
