    Florida Beach Recommendations

We're headed that way at the end of March. We're looking for one of the closer beaches to NKY, like Destin.

    Suggestions?

    Google VRBO

Then Search Florida Panhandle, a lot of places will come up. tailor your search to your needs and you will find a place in your price range that meets your needs.

I want to go to the Keys next February

Searched 1 bedroom, pool, near beach, pet friendly and got many places to choose from.

    Good luck.

We use this site all the time and have been for several years.

I agree with BM, Panhandle is the place to be!!! Once we went there we quit going anyplace else.

We've been staying at Highpointe near Rosemary and Seacrest for many years. Can be busy at times but nothing like Destin. I recommend highly.

I'd prefer keeping it at 12 hours or less.

West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale or all the way up to Melbourne.

If you want to be sure to enjoy the beach in March, you better go further south. Panhandle can be pretty iffy that time of year. I'd go no further north then Tampa.

How many folks are going? Allegiant is a cheap flight.

Is your goal to get in the water ?
Are you looking for ways to entertain kids?

We're hoping to be on the beach and that's it. Don't need any kid entertainment, but definitely want to spend time in the ocean.

There will only be three of us so we don't need anything huge.

If you want to get in the water, you definitely have to go farther south than the panhandle.
