Sorry, this argument starts and ends with the Philly Phanatic. The original Phanatic was Dave Raymond, son of football coaching legend, Tubby Raymond, the guy who developed the "Delaware Wing-T" offense.

The Phanatic took my 2 month old daughter out onto the field once when I got to throw out the first pitch at a Phillies game many years ago.
