Favorite Cocktail Drink/Recipes
The "when was your last drink" thread sparked this idea. Let's hear everyone's favorite drink. If you have a specific recipe, share that too so we can all be drunks together.
A good buddy of mine works for Brown Forman, so I typically use their products. A few of my simple favorites are:
Jack and Coke
Woodford and Ginger Ale
Kentucky MuleAdvertisement

Mandarin vodka up! Shaken really hard.
if no Orange flavored Vodka is available I'll go with Vodka up with a twist. Every once in a while it will be with blue cheese stuffed olives.
Or Miller Lite.

Hard to beat a good old fashioned. Also enjoy a made from scratch margarita. Darkhorse is definitely bourbon and lemonade.

For bourbon I prefer an old fashion if I am wanting a "fancy" drink or buffalo trace on the rocks with a cherry. Hot summer day by the pool I am going with Tito's and water with a lime or lemon.

In my early drinking days I would mix bourbon with whatever, but generally speaking I am not a mixed drink guy. Bourbon and air is about as creative as I typically get.

Jul 11, 18, 12:29 PM #14An Old Fashioned was my grandfather's drink of choice for years. Always liked them. They're a go-to if I'm out and getting a cocktail at a nice place.

Jul 11, 18, 12:49 PM #15I don't drink mixed drinks very often. I'm pretty much a beer, red wine, or straight whiskey guy.
1 - I do like Old Fashioneds - prefer rye over bourbon.
2 - An occasional Margarita on the rocks w/salt.
3 - Moonshine Lemonade.
