I hate to criticize, but if I'm only eating out twice in 5 months Speedway Cheese Burgers are never going to make the list.

I had not eaten all day and still had a hour or two before I got home. I was getting gas and thought, why not?

Their pizza is actually solid, and you can never go wrong with a fully dressed Speedway-Dog. Both would have been far superior options to their "burger". A fully dressed dog (or two) and a bag of combo's would have been a perfect snack until your home-cooked meal.

When we were up there a couple of weeks ago, we visited 3 distilleries one day. When we were leaving the last one, the Woodford Distillery, to head back to NKY, we asked a fellow who worked there, "Where's a good place to eat?" He enthusiastically said, "Red State BBQ, near Georgetown."

    He wasn't kidding. Great food.

Soul food buffet at Blue Licks SRP. Catfish, chicken, ribs, collard greens and ham, fried okra.
