Had a gift card so the wife and I went to the new Outback in Florence Friday night. Service was great, food not so much. Outback has really gone down hill. The one in Naples last winter wasnt good either.

On the news they said they hope to be open again in 3 weeks. They were concerned about the staff and was helping them get work at other Outbacks.

Letís see my meals over the last week or so
Ruthís Chris, Angelinaís, Ruthís Chris, Dan Ryanís, BLT Steak house, Cheese cake factory, Wooloomooloo, Shangri la breakfast buffet (X6), Hugos plus a few others I donít remember their names. And the night I got home we went to Knotty Pine!
Pretty happy I came back only about 1 pound heavier. The 108,000 steps I took may have helped.

Ate at Cracker Barrel on the way up to Cleveland. for supper we ate at Mac & Erma's. I had the BLT fried Cod sandwich and endless fries. One of the best fish sandwiches I have had. Hubby had chicken wings and son had soft pretzels and French Onion soup. coming home yesterday we just stopped at McDonald's to go. I got the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. They are very good.

I had the Blackened Shrimp cajun pasta at Christopher Eats in Huntington/Barboursville, WV a few days ago. It was a half pound of blackened shimp and roasted spinach, with a creamy cajun tomato sauce, tossed in linguine. I'm not a fan of tomatoes but I do love a good tomato based sauce as well as tomato soup. This stuff was excellent. Spicy, creamy sauce and loaded up with blackened shrimp.

Hofbrauhaus last night. I have not been there in a while. Hefeweizen was fantastic as always. Bavarian Jager Schnitzel was very good.

I had a business meeting at Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar, FL, yesterday evening. My first time there. Any place that has Cigar City Maduro on tap is instantly my kind of place. Nice selection of bourbon's as well. You don't see Double Oak at many places, but they have it.

The food's good too. The appetizers were Short Rib Sweet Potato Tots and Buffalo Cauliflower. I got a grilled southwest flat bread.
