May 9, 17, 03:48 AM #211I had Kentucky Fried Chicken in Cambridge, Ohio on Sunday.
I do not eat a lot of deep fried food.
Have not felt good the past three days.Advertisement
May 9, 17, 05:39 AM #212Mi Camino Real last Friday. Daughter asked if they had any margarita specials (being May 5th and all). The guy said no. When he brought the bill, he said the drink was free and he also gave her a shot glass. Three dinners, three waters, a margarita and a shot glass for 28 bucks.
May 12, 17, 11:09 PM #213Mother's Day dinner with my daughter and her family. Island Way Grill, Clearwater Beach.
Had one of the specials...
Cajun breaded soft shell crab over blackened pan seared red snapper over Cajun breaded green fried tomato all covered with Cajun hollandaise sauce. Served with jasmine rice. Unbelievable!!!
I had the opportunity to talk to the chef after the meal. He sold a bunch of them tonight, so maybe they'll put it on the regular menu. I hope so.

May 15, 17, 08:25 AM #215Cracker Barrel last night with the family for Mother's Day. Had Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, & Cornbread. I'm usually so-so on Cracker Barrel, but last night was a really good meal.
May 16, 17, 08:51 AM #216Just had the most expensive dinner of my life last night. El Farollon on the bluffs over looking the Sea of Cortez in Cabo San Lucas. Amazing atmosphere. Drive thru a tunnel in the mountain to get to the resort. Take a causal walk through the property. Stop at the Champagne bar for a drink. Than you pick out your main course and your sides before you get seated. Our table was on the rail with the waves crashing against the rocks below. They start you off with some appetizers, a pea soup than they main course rolls out. Ended with a wonderful desert. We shared a nice bottle of wine from The 'Frank Family' vineyard. Wonderful experience. Food was very good. View and experience was off the charts good. Probably won't go back but cool to have done it.
May 16, 17, 08:55 AM #217Twice in the 'ville last weekend. Loui Loui's Detroit pizza on Friday (the hot brown pizza was pretty good). North End Cafe on Bardstown Road on Saturday. Good food and a nice variety on the menu.
May 24, 17, 09:13 AM #218With my son's family on St. Pete Beach.
Boulevard Burger, across the street from the Tradewinds Guy Harvey Outpost Resort.
Nice food for a tourist establishment and the prices were not too outrageous. I had a good old fashion burger and fries. Mrs. S said the Grouper sandwich was good.
My 5 year old grandson got onion rings and chicken tenders. He removed he onions from the rings and ate the batter. Later the asked the waitress if he could order the onion rings without the onions. He is a trip.
May 24, 17, 10:21 AM #219Smoke Justis last night. Met an old buddy and his wife there last night. Smoked wings, KY hot brown sliders were all very tasty. Not a fan of the fries they serve though.
May 29, 17, 04:58 PM #2205-28-17. My sister took me out to Burger King. I had the Bacon King Combo. The fries were cold as usual. I ate them only because I was very hungry.
Jun 4, 17, 10:27 AM #221Took my sister and my niece to a Cici's in Akron, on our way to the state softball finals. I dislike the place but they both like it.

Jun 5, 17, 07:59 AM #225We tried Carson's in Lexington last night. It was okay.
Highlight of the meal was dessert. The bread pudding was the best I've ever tasted.
Made up for the mediocre steak I ordered.
