Early November Christmas Music: Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down

A lot of people like Christmas music, but maybe not so early in November.

    What say you?

    Thumbs up for me.

I'm a thumbs up, but only because I'm sequencing my Christmas lights to the music. Each 2 minute song takes about 8 hours of listening to all or portions of a song over and over and over. By the day after Thanksgiving when I start the show, I'm sure to have had dreams about the music.

Listen to whatever tickles your fancy, but don't get in my car and expect to hear jingle bells any time before 12/24 or after 12/25. Thumbs down.

Nothing until December. No tree, no music, no decorations, no nothing!

If it makes you happy during these crappy winter months then have at it.

I personally don't start listening to it in my car until after thanksgiving, but our office is playing Christmas music already and I don't mind it.

Luckily for me, I don't have to lie to any little loudmouths about Santa or the meaning of Christmas yet.

    Two thumbs down for me.

We had a few people in my neighborhood with Christmas decorations up before Halloween. I stole the following from twitter but it pretty much sums up how I feel.

Fun Fact: If someone is playing Christmas music in October, you're legally allowed to kill them and use their corpse for a Halloween decoration.
