FYI everyone, I drove through northbound 75 yesterday about 530pm and it was a piece of cake. Maybe a 15 minute extra wait. The traffic didn't slow or back until after Fort Wright heading down the hill.

I came by 275 from the airport yesterday around 2:00 PM. The traffic heading west on 275 to merge onto 75 was at a stand still all the way back to the Thomas more/Turkeyfoot exit.
Wife was heading to the mall today and said traffic was horrible.

About 6 blocks from the Levee heading East. Route 8 (Fairfield ave.) is the main artery thru Bellevue and Dayton.

The scare tactics are working for any of us that want to take 75. I doubt it holds.

What has been weird the last couple of days is the delays in non construction areas.

I was supposed to go with my buddy up from Bardstown to Thursday's Reds game, but I was covered up with work and couldn't make it. I advised him to be aware of traffic on the expressway.

He took Dixie all the way in from the Richwood exit since traffic started backing up there, and especially loved the drive down the hill into CVG past CovCath and Notre Dame. He asked about the construction at CovCath.

Used Uber everywhere after that once they got to the hotel in Covington for cheap prices. Wish I could've gone.

Was eastbound Wednesday afternoon around 6:15. Had an accident happen pretty much right beside me. We had come down the hill from the Taylor Mill Road exit and were just starting to cross the bridge. The yahoos in the left hand lane kept pushing the limit with speed and clearance (or more precisely, the lack thereof) with the guy ahead of them. Traffic started to back up specifically in that lane for 471...car #1 comes to a stop...car #2 swerves into our lane to avoid #1...car #3 has no clue traffic has stopped ahead of him and when he does, slides right into #1. Car #4 swerves not only into our lane (the middle one) but comes all the way across into the right hand lane...misses traffic there, and avoids hitting the wall by cutting it hard back into the middle lane.

I should get a thank you note from the people in cars #2 and #4, because if I would've been riding the guy in front of me like they were, the space that they came over into would've been filled by a gasoline tanker truck.

    Idjits.

Pretty sure car #1 was a woman. Car #3 was a guy. Have no idea on #2 and #4.

As to where they were from...I'm thinking they were from the state of insanity.
