For starters I think Litecoin will be $1,000 within the next 6 months.

There are a few other alt coins that I like, but those are basically lottery tickets.

Since Litecoin has doubled today, Litecoin is looking like a nice little investment. I was able to get in on it when it was under $100

I'm split on Litecoin and Ethereum. Both are exciting me right now. I got in on Litecoin under 100 as well.

A few pages back in the thread I mentioned that I felt like LTC would have a breakout year in 2018. It looks like it's starting a little early. I almost bought one when it hit $96 but figured I'd sleep on it, woke up the next morning and it was at $165 haha. I caught it in a dip late Saturday night and picked a couple up for $136 a piece. I really thought it would meet a lot of resistance when it hit $200, but it's looking like the resistance is at $400.

Both are solid, but I truly believe Litecoin has a higher upside. Ether has been at or near it's current levels in the past and always meets enough resistance that it drops back down or seemingly remains the same for long periods of time. I really think LTC will surpass Ether in January and won't look back. 2018 is going to be a breakout year for LTC.

I think by this time next year it'll be closing in on 4k and will have solidified itself as the #2 crypto behind BTC.

LTC arguably has the most efficient as well as secure blockchain of any of the crypto's, BTC included. It'll never surpass BTC due to BTC being a much more established brand (think of Nike compared to the other apparel companies) but once it becomes more widely known I really think it's going to blow up.

IOTA is rumored to be working with Microsoft to use IOTAs block chain. It is tough to purchase. I think that is why it is still at about $5/coin

Coinbase is adding some new crypto's to their exchange in January, I'm not sure if IOTA is one of those though. Monero is backed by the music industry and seems to be doing really well from that as well.

The recent uptick of interest in this thread is an indication of why Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies are doing so well right now. They are hitting the mainstream and (at least) some of the mainstream are jumping on board driving up the price.

Currency is all well and good, but I find the evolution of blockchain as the most lucrative investment area. I am at the Day 4 Crypto event in Covington right now. There was just a presentation where a blockchain company is being used by the Republic of Georgia to store land titles bc they have been so easily corrupted by simply changing the paperwork in the physical file. That is the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg. Block chain allows for secure storage of sensitive data in a structure that is easy to trace and track. Any military, government, medical, financial data is more secure ina blockchain. The amount of volume out there is mind boggling. That is the future more so than merely the coins.
