Already had arrangements made. Spending the nights under the stars at a campground at Lake James State Park. Three nights for less than 60 bucks. Leaves us with some spare change to visit Biltmore with.

And get the bloody Mary at the Grove Park Inn. Yummy, and they are known for them.

There is also a neat farm to table restaurant that's really good and popular, located in a refurbished old house, but I can't remember the name of it.

Tupelo Honey restaurant. Griddled Appalachian Pork. One of the best dinners I ever had. Excellent comfort food restaurant.

Caveat- they change the menu and have 2 locations in Asheville so check the menu at the location you're going to if you want to get this dish.

They certainly didn’t pinch pennies when selecting building materials, etc. probably the nicest brewery I’ve ever been to.

I've been to my fair share and it isn't close. SN has big $$$, been in game since 1980.
