US Men's Curling comes away with an 11-7 victory over KOR.

They are idle this evening and play ITA tomorrow.

First time that I can remember that I missed them too. Idk why, but I just haven't been into them as much as the past. I think the time difference is killing my vibe.

US loses 3-2 in OT to Slovenia in men's hockey. This, after being up 2-0 after 2 periods. Then it looked like to me they went into the proverbial prevent defense. Pathetic.

I'm glad the curling appetizer is over and we can get on to the main course. I fully expect to see John Shuster fail miserably on the big stage.

This is the start of three straight East Asian Olympics. It’s brutal.

But nobody in the West wants the games in their backyard and all the corrupt expenditures that go along with hosting.

Hopefully they come up with a better plan soon.

Yea, not happy about three straight in East Asia.

I think they need just a few venues and rotate. Probably two for each games.

    - Mikaela Shiffrin captured the Gold in the Ladies' Super Giant Slalom. She has a really good shot at 2 more.

    - The US Women's Curling Team beat beat GBR 7-4 in the early round. Then lost to SUI 6-5 in the late match. After 3 sessions they are 1-2. They are Idle today. There are 3 women's matches at 00:05.

    - The US Women's Hockey team dropped a tough battle 2-1 to CAN. I fully expect these two to meet in the Gold medal round.

    - The US Men's Curling team lost 10-9 to ITA. Their record is 1-1.

US medal count is now 4th overall - 5 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze

    On tap for today:

    19:05 Men's Curling - USA vs SWE

    19:30 Men's Skeleton - Heats 3 & 4

20:00 Alpine Skiing - Ladies' Slalom Run 1 - Mikaela Shiffrin looks to repeat.

20:00 Snowboard - Ladies' Snowboard Cross - Lindsey Jacobellis is back for her 4th Olympics and has a great shot at gold.

21:00 Alpine Skiing - Men's Super G - Keep an eye on Ryan Cochran-Siegle he has a shot at a medal. Ted Ligety is still a good skier, but his best opportunity to medal will be the Giant Slalom.

21:10 Men's Ice Hockey - USA vs SVK

23:15 Alpine Skiing - Ladies' Slalom Run 2

    06:05 Men's Curling - USA vs DEN

    06:20 Skeleton - Women's Heats 1 & 2
