Swept many a floor in my life, don't anymore, it's a killer for my back. Thank goodness Papaw is retired. Played a lot of shuffleboard in the winter during indoor recess while in elementary school. At my age? Curling looks a heck of a lot easier than sliding into second or home.

I love the speed skating. Also really like the downhill races on snowboards/skis or whatever they use.

I’ve been curling many times and it’s a fun thing to do with a beer in your hand, but on TV it’s like watching other people throw cornhole bags. I can’t do it.
It's one of my absolute favorite Winter Olympic events. Possibly my favorite.

We sold the business and officially retired, as of 12/31/2015. Papaw still does some consulting work.

Maybe it was some of the consulting work he does that I see when I passed.

We using this as our official update thread? I like when we did that for the Summer Olympics last go around.

    1. Anything that involves skis or snow boards. I'm a huge X-Games fan. Pretty sure MrsC and I are going to Aspen next year.

1, 2, & 3 - I will go out of my way to watch pretty much any of the events, any country.

4, 5, & 6 - I will watch if I have nothing else to do, or nothing decent is on. Typically only the USA.

Like Auto Racing, I know plenty of people who watch bobsled, luge and skeleton just for the wrecks. I, however, like it all. USA! USA! USA!

There were several NASCAR teams that made bobsleds back in the day, not sure about current.

It was Nascar Racer/Owner Geoff Bodine that helped get USA Bobsled caught up with the rest of the world...threw his money and engineers at the problem and made some great bobsleds for Team USA.

Watched mixed doubles Curling early this morning. Trying to learn how to say "sweep faster over there" in Norwegian.

Really intrigued though. Balance, technique, strategy ...

Can't sleep curling has me hyped up.

The guys who do the luge are nuts 80 miles per hour on ice with a sled under you no thanks.

    Yep.

No clue what's going on with Curling, but I'm mesmerized by it.
