The body adapts very quickly. My first day was at 39 minutes. Now I can do 20 to 23 minutes depending on the workout.
Took me just under 37 mins but I didn’t do the presses. I just threw some push ups between each set. I don’t plan on doing the full 10,000 right now but will throw this in at least once a week. It was a heck of a workout and will definitely help me get my conditioning back where it was.

Give it a whole week and your anaerobic conditioning will go through the roof

Back is still progressing. Did some heavyish squats yesterday for the first time since late Dec. Did a burpee box jump workout after that and no pain. Normally burpees will get me if my back isn't right. Was tight this morning but after some stretches it felt fine. Still keeping weights moderate and scaling some movements that could cause issues but so far so good.

Took days off, so I have had to and will continue to catch up to finish by Tuesday 1/30. Currently at 7500. Down the homestretch. Actually checked out a Kettlebell gym in Latonia as well. Really interested in joining there. I just have to figure out what to give up to fit it in the budget.

Not going to lie, I'd never heard of a Kettlebell gym.

Below is where I went. Joe was very interesting. He's written a ton of articles about KB training.

This is for his online program, but that is also the name of their physical location.

Today was my 16th trip to the gym this month. After missing as much time as I did, it feels good to almost be back into a groove.

Didn’t some heavy (for me) clean and jerk yesterday and was able to hit 190. I stopped there burn think I could have gotten 5 or 10 more. Back was a little tender this morning but that was probably from the 150 wall balls we did after the c&j

Fell behind by 4 days, so today I did the most boring workout ever.

20 swings on the minute for 50 minutes. I was going to do an hour, but my hands were starting to blister. 9,000 swings in 28 days. Hopefully I finish this bad boy in 30 days.

That sounds absolutely miserable. I have dabbled around with KB swings and in no way do I want to be doing them for 50 minutes straight.

After the past month, I was prepared for the volume. It really wasn't that bad, physically. It was sooooo boring. Work 35 seconds, rest 25 seconds...over and over again.

Yuck. Any workout where you do one movement for that long just becomes all mental.

I did 60 mins of burpees once it was basically just stare at a spot and hope for it to end.

How many burpees can one get in an hour?

I did 100 burpees over a box a few months ago and I thought that was pretty challenging.

Got 525. My plan was 10 rep EMOM for a total of 600. Some of the middle rounds got me.

I know there's a triathlon-er around here somewhere. I'm curious what training you would recommend to be prepared by July? That seems like more than enough time to me.

I'm still undecided between the "Sprint" and "Olympic" group because I've never ran more than three miles at once.

Some other questions that come to mind:

What is the proper attire for biking and running following a swim?
    Any way to prevent chaffing?
What's the ideal bike set up?
Will I regret agreeing to this race?
