I did learn that Travis was an organ donor so good to know part of his legacy will be to continue helping others. There is a go fund me set up for funeral expenses as he was one of seven children. If you are so inclined......

I really hope that the community makes an extra effort to surround the driver with love and support. She will definitely need it for a long time.

I wish I knew how to reach out to Mr. Hester....he is not forgotten by the Cooper family. Hope his recovery is on track. Does anyone know if his family is in need of anything??

Seeing pictures from Boone Co, Conner and NDA this morning in support of Travis, his family/friends and #CooperStrong . Very touching and uplifting.

I've said for years now that one of the most heated and passionate rivalries in NKY is Conner/Cooper. It has occasionally gotten ugly with adults as well as students. One redeeming aspect of Travis' death is the realization that none of that crap is important. Here are Conner students wearing red today in support of both Travis individually as well as the Cooper community. Brings a tear or 100 to my eyes.

It is very humbling to see all of the support from neighboring schools, it just saddens me that it is through such a tragic event that we are able to see just how great these kids really are.

That's on us as adults. We fall into the easy trap of "these kids these days...." when , in reality, they're us and we were just like them.

My heart is broken for Travis, his family, & all those who were close to him. I can't imagine the pain, but will keep them all in prayer.

    Thanks for posting this Hellbird.

Seeing all the tributes today from all the high schools tribute to Travis and Cooper HS has really choked me up today. So proud to be a part of such a great community. All the high schools from Lawrenceburg IN, to the high schools of NKY such as Boone, Conner, Beechwood, Ryle. Notre Dame just to name a few. How touching. Then to see their own tributes on Social Media from Bengals own Marvin Jones Jr to Xavier's Chris Mack.

It it is so special to see the community come
together like this. God bless you all.

Over 700 Cooper Strong shirts sold just today at Cooper.
