I started the Chase with my list to win in this order 1) Stewart 2) Kyle Busch 3) Newman 4) somebody that had never won it before. I'm glad to see pick first pick come through.

I think it is pretty cool a owner driver won something very rare.

returned home yesterday from a week in the Florida Keys and the weekend at the racetrack. I was in Atlanta in 1992. Davey Allison was leading the points to start the race and was wrecked out by Ernie Irvan. Kulwicki won the championship by beating Bill Elliott by 10 points. He did that by leading the most laps over Bill Elliott. Tony Stewart & Carl Edwards provided as good of race and championship battle since that day. What a great race and championship ! Great season for Nascar.
