Louisville Stunners 18u Tryouts

Stunner tryout this Sunday, August 12th from 2-5pm at the Jeffersonville High School softball field.

As a 16U team the Stunners were the ASA IN State Champions and the ASA Northern National Champions in 2011. In 2012 the team competed in the Colorado Sparkler, took home the ASA KY State Trophy and competed in the ASA Nationals in Montgomery, AL.

Congrats! Wow what a great season. Good luck at tryouts and in the future. Are the tryouts open for anyone to come and watch?

Tryouts are open, I know a coulpe of girls have decided to go in another direction, all positions are up for grabs. You get what you earn.

How did tryouts go? Any names from NKY that may have tried out and made the team.

I agree. I would also be interested to know who made the team from NKY if any, and in addition what girls from NKY are playing for what teams next summer? SSC is your daughter still playing with the Beverly Bandits?

Yes she is, we are having a team based out of Ohio this year and she will play on that team. The Bandits will field 5 teams this year 3 18U's a 16U and a 14U.

No girls came from NKY to tryouts. We had 13 players this summer, we lost 7 ( they decided to go in different direction) we picked up 6, 3 from western ky. 2 from central ky. and 1 from Indiana. We could possibly have a better pitching staff than this summer.

That's great good luck with the new girls. I wonder where 7 girls could go that would find a better team than this one. I wouldn't think all 7 could not make the sluggers.

None went to the sluggers that I know about, 1 went to sports reach, 1 went to a team in ohio( they went to addias futures) 4 are going to a team in Etown, not sure about the other. All the girls that left are great kids, we will miss them and their families, look forward to developing relationships with the new additions, my opinon other than watching the game we love is the relationships we have with others.
