    ABA Kentucky Colonels Book Signing

As many of you know I was the trainer/travel secretary and equipment manager for the Kentucky Colonels.
NEW BOOK SIGNING on ABA KENTUCKY COLONELS. On Saturday, May 16, 2015 @ 2:00 pm at the Marriott Hotel near Hurstbourne Lane and I-64... (ADMISSION FREE) everyone is welcome. As of today Naismith Hall of Famers Artis, Dan, Louie, along with Wil Jones, Cincy Powell, Darel Carrier, Bobby Rascoe, Joe Hamilton and many others in the organization have agreed to come to the book signing. Mark Gordon, the Colonels photogopher, and I will be relesing our new book for the very first time. The name of the book is "ABA Kentucky Colonels, Shots from the Sidelines". Two years ago Mark contacted me an told me that he had over 3000 negatives from the days of the Kentucky Colonles. He got it down to 1000 then 750 and we got it down to 500. Since I have every lineup sheet and most scorebooks I wrote the captions for every picture. Almost every picture tells a story…stats, date of the game, maybe some history of the picture, and every player from both team named. Included are locker room shots and celebrations after the 1975 ABA CHAMPIONSHIP.

    Man I loved the ABA.

I got Dan Issel's autograph after a game where they played the Spurs at UC's Armory. First time I had ever came across George Gervin.

    Good luck with the book.

Best ABA book I've come across regarding stories is "Loose Balls" by Terry Pluto.
