I plan on talking to him after the game tonight. I'll get a recruiting update and post the video sometime tomorrow.

Had another big game this morning with 19 &11.

Ben Weyer's stock is really rising as well...had 13 &4 this morning in the loss to Mac Irvin.

According to Twitter, Eastern KY offered Carson this afternoon.

Ben could've had 25 if they would have played him more.

Toledo really likes him too. Was talking to one of their assistants during the Wisconsin Playground game.

Toledo also likes Ben Weyer, Peyton Broughton, and Tavin Lovan.

Don't be surprised if any of those kids pick up an offer after this week end.

Do you see the EYBL coming back to the KBA? I know a lot of people complaining they couldn't get in the doors because they only let 300 in at a time. I got there early Friday and didn't have a issue. But on Saturday is was a whole different story. I stood in line for 40 minutes before leaving. I was in line with a grand mother of a player for All Ohio. She was from Vegas and was missing her grand sons game because she couldn't get in. Some people had pink wrist bands and could come and go as they pleased, she had red and had to wait.
I also was speaking to a DePaul coach that said the coaches were not happy because the KBA would not let them stand up so they could see multiple courts. They had to sit in the end zone. The DePaul coach was sitting with the common folk like me and they asked him to move. He told security he wanted to see court 1 and 3 and they told him he had to move. Sounds like biting the hand that feeds you.

I said all along that I was concerned about the lack of space and a few told me I was wrong. I saw that grandmother and felt really bad for her. I wish they would have made announcements telling people that there were others waiting. I could have left earlier. I was told by the guy at the gate that I could buy a band for all day but not get back in if I left.

I've heard second hand that Nike already said it won't be back at kba but that is strictly a rumor.

I had a conversation with a few college coaches early in the week and I was telling them the same thing that you were worried about, I saw a big issue with the lack of space at the KBA. After hearing back from most of the coaches who I am taking about, not one was happy at all.

For selfish reasons, I hope it stays at KBA.

Agree the lack of parking and space between courts is a problem. By far the best stop on the circuit is Boo Williams in Hampton.

@EvanDaniels: The Kentucky Basketball Academy was a terrific site for the Nike EYBL. @TBthe2nd and his crew did a great job.

KBA is like 2 blocks from his house. Of course he wants to have it back every year...

I was only there Friday and didn't have any major issues. It is a big negative to not be able to see two courts at once like you can at the rest of the EYBL locations.

The fact that KBA is small should have been a surprise to no one. Not like that wasn't known going in.

The question is does Nike only put the event in the home of its premier CBB asset for one year? I know a few of the higher ups at Nike that I know weren't 100% thrilled with the location, but having the EYBL meet the BBN is and was a money deal from the start...

For my experiences KBA isn't any different than most basketball academies I have been to. Most have minimal parking and unless the events are held at a high school parking is going to be crappy. It would be nice if KBA was a bigger venue but I'd say they did the best they could. Maybe someone with deep pockets can build a bigger version of KBA in Lexington that can fully support and EYBL event. There's no law that says there only has to be one basketball academy in Lexington.

KBA's seating is awful. The middle school tourney proves that.
