For you soccer guys and gals out there, does anyone have any first hand experience with the Kentucky ODP?

I think it varies depending on the age and if it is a boy or a girl. Let me know and I will be glad to share my experience

Yes, great coaching, crappy traveling to practice.

Thanks. And yeah, the travel part looks as though it would suck.

I will say, taking the Bluegrass Parkway to Nelson County at sunrise was beautiful. I would have never seen that without driving the boys to practice. Really made me appreciate Bluegrass Country.

I'm not going to have them tryout again. At this point, they are who they are. U16 now, it's almost too late. On top of that, during the Spring I have both playing in the Buckeye AND then 1 is playing KPL and the other is in the OSSL. We're going to be stretched thin as it is. I don't want to add 6 practices at the least to that. If all practices were local, no biggie, but going to ETown for a Saturday practice and then Dayton for a Sunday game is awful.

From what I have gathered, you need to start ODP young. They tend to stick with who they know.
