    I like the idea of 7 on 7 aau... but I agree to much hitting on a kid all year long.

    I've seen and heard discussions that there would be no athletics that are school based in 15-20 years. Everything private/club/aau based.

    I can see the prep school stuff become more important to kids but high school organized sports won't go anywhere.

    You're gonna see more and more of this. High School sports as we have known them for decades is changing. IMO, football will be impacted. Maybe not as much as other sports, but impacted nonetheless.

    Agreed. You want to see numbers and participation drop? That’s what would happen if you dropped high school sports.

    We may trend towards more schools dropping certain programs because of low participation, but there are thousands of schools with multiple sports teams at all levels. AAU/Club sports will never replace those, there is no benefit to the schools.

    Huge benefit to schools by dropping sports. No funding teams, No funding facilities. Huge impact.
